Arla’s Scandinavian heritage can be traced back to the 1880s when dairy farmers in Denmark and Sweden came together to produce and deliver the finest dairy products. Arla Foods first arrived in the UK at the turn of the 20th century with the appearance of Lurpak butter in high street stores.

Arla cheese soon followed, quickly becoming a favourite on British tables. As of today, over 2,500 UK farmers are part of the cooperative with 10 Arla dairies in the UK processing the milk from our British farmers and making them into the high-quality products we all love. Arla Pro Mozzarella has been created specifically for the professionals, this quality cheese is mild and delicate, with a creamy and yoghurt aromatic taste. It has a semi-soft, elastic texture, which implies excellent stretchability.
