We are working with sponsor Keck again this year in our quest to find the Pasta Chef of the Year.

Contestants are required to create a pasta dish for each of the two categories using either of the nominated Keck products:

Short Cut Pasta

  • Penne
  • Conchiglie

Long Cut

  • Spaghetti
  • Pappardelle

Chefs must create a unique dish or an inventive interpretation of a classic dish considering commercial viability, overall composition, flavour and appeal. Keck Pasta is produced using the highest quality durum wheat semolina dough and is fully cooked, ready to cook from frozen.

New for 2018, instead of running regional heats our judges will be looking at the written recipes and selecting the finalists to attend the live bake off style final at The European Pizza and Pasta Show at London Olympia on Thursday 15th November 2018.

The winners will be announced at The PAPA Awards dinner that evening at The Royal Lancaster London Hotel. The winner will receive a cheque for £1,000, considerable publicity and the kudos of being The Pasta CHef of the Year 2018.
